What we offer

Research-based Developmental Classes

Many things can be done to help make a child’s developmental progress stable and successful. The choreographies of our courses are tailored to support the development of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers across their first years of life. In the class, parents are also guided and informed about the movement milestones that can be expected within the first years of their child’s life.

Classes are run in three age groups to suit the nature of different developmental stages. All sessions consist of an intentionally designed and balanced flow of activities that can be enjoyed together in class as well as at home.

Snillingafimi

Snillingafimi is tailor-designed to support infant development (3-12 months). The classes offer insight into early development to increase the confidence of parents and caregivers in understanding their growing baby. Parents learn exercises and games to stimulate the child's mental and physical development.

Hreyfifimi

During Hreyfifimi classes, we teach toddlers (1-3 years) through play to control their movements and to move with more awareness, using plenty of colorful and exciting instruments and good music that will engage and captivate your child. Parents are encouraged to fully participate in the classes.

Gþfimi

Grunnþjálfunarfimi classes are designed for preschoolers (3-6 years). We focus on improving the sense of balance, coordination, as well as gross motor and fine motor skills of your child. The course is based on a specific teaching method created by Carl H. Delacato, an educator and scientist who conducted intensive research in children with learning disabilities.

Mæðrafimi

Mæðrafimi (E. Maternity Fitness) Iare classes for mothers and their new born children.
